Happy celebrations to all members of AFA Rugova, to the young and the old, to the families, and to those who are no longer with us, who for decades have contributed to preserving, cultivating, and enriching the cultural heritage and values of the Rugova region.

Happy celebrations to you, friends, and thank you for your support and dedication in representing us wherever we appear.

In lasting memory of Ramë K. Nikçi, the founder, leader, ideator, and choreographer; for his testament that these values be passed down from generation to generation. We also remember the doyens of the emblematic Rugova ensemble – Ramë Elezi, Mother Lake, and all the more than 150 who are no longer with us, up to the great master Kapllan Nikçi.

We congratulate our sister associations in Europe and America, who promote these values with dedication, raising the ensemble’s image worldwide.

Even though it has been 25 years since the war, and without institutional support, we do not stop—thanks to the will of the members and supporters who, with symbolic assistance, help us convey it everywhere, and thanks to the dedication of the Ensemble’s leadership.
