AFA "Rugova" – Peja

This is how the celebration began, and this is how the celebration of this cultural heritage in Gjonaj of Has ended!

With the entrance of the children who symbolized and created the 50 years of creativity of this society, together with its dancers, male and female, with a special costuming for this part, from where other societies also performed which were invited as guests to celebrate this great festivity, such as the Rugova Ensemble, the Ensemble from Deçan, from Kruma, from Tuzi of Montenegro, from Gostivar, as well as singers who joined this celebration with their songs.

Naturally, their performances did not have a competitive character because the organizers had planned it that way, that the first night would be festive, naturally also some of the guests who also took the floor, first the director of this cultural center Mr. Haziz Hodajfrom where he greeted those present, among them also Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who encouraged this society for the qualities it has, and raised high the role it has as cultural heritage. To continue then with the deputy mayor of the municipality, Kujtim Gashi, who spoke on behalf of the municipality, and to continue with some other statements from the guests!
The epicenter of this celebration naturally was the cultural artistic society Malësori, which performed its own dances before those present with an elegance of its own kind, who with fanaticism are preserving and cultivating them, also through the beautiful clothing they have!
After the conclusion, it can be said that for all the groups, societies, and ensembles, guests, a joint dinner was organized in a large hall, because indeed the attendance was large and only such halls could accommodate everyone together, including representatives from Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Croatia, and Switzerland, as SH.K.A “DARDANIA” had come especially and its president Shefqet Cakolli, from where, among many acknowledgments given that evening, one acknowledgment was also given to its president, and likewise this society had also prepared an acknowledgment for SH.K.A “MALËSORI” in Gjinaj as a sign of respect and preservation of our cultural heritage.

The celebration continued until late hours, with entertaining songs and dances where almost all the members of the participating groups joined, but now in another festive spirit, because they truly deserved it from the entire presentation that was at the center of agreement in Gjonaj, where today the second night begins, and in fact the first night of the “Hasi Jehon” festival, which will be a competitive festival with specific criteria!
