The opening of the parade marked an emotional moment, with the recitation of Gjergj Fishta's poem "Free Albania," masterfully performed by the renowned actor Reshat Arbana.

The festive atmosphere was enriched by participants who presented their cultural heritage through folk songs, traditional instruments, and characteristic costumes from all Albanian regions.

Already a tradition in New York, Albanians from all over the world dressed in red and black and in folk costumes filled the streets of Tirana today.

Over 350 artistic groups from all over the world, wherever Albanian is spoken, are present in the parade. Representatives from 150 cities, delegations from Albanian municipalities and communes, along with their ensembles, are part of the parade.

On both sides of the boulevard, there are also many citizens to follow the parade closely.
