Kosovo is a country of judo 🇽🇰💙

Over 40 judokas from 27 European countries participated in the European Judo Championship that was organized in Kosovo for the first time.

The Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina was full of sports fans who had come to see their favorite judokas who this time were competing in their home. In this championship, our judokas gave excitement and pride to all present. They brought the state four medals, Akili a gold medal and Distria, Nora and Dardani bronze.

Being the biggest judo sport event ever organized in Kosovo, it proved once again that our country has the ability to organize such sports events. The opening ceremony of the European Judo Championship started with the presentation of the clip "Kosova, state of judo" and the performance of the "Rugova" Ensemble.

Present at this event were President Vjosa Osmani, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Minister of Sports, Hajrulla Çeku, President of the Judo Federation of Kosovo, Agron Kuka, Vice President of the European Judo Federation, Otto Kneitinger, representatives of sports federations, accredited ambassadors in Kosovo, ministers and deputies.

Congratulations for the wonderful organization of the Judo Federation of Kosovo, which is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the European Judo Federation.
