AFA "Rugova" – Peja

Today, in the birthplace of commander "Kapuçit", Mujë Krasniqi, on his fifty-sixth birthday, began the Nationwide Folk Festival "We sing to freedom" dedicated to commander "Kapuçit", a festival which is becoming grander and more multidimensional from year to year .

The mayor of the municipality of Klina, Prof. participated in this cultural event. Dr. Zenun Elezaj, Minister of Defense, Mr. Armend Mehaj, family members and comrades-in-arms of commander Mujë Krasniqi, invalids, veterans and members of the Kosovo Liberation Army, artists, art and culture professionals from all Albanian lands, citizens and media.

The mayor of the municipality, Prof. Dr. Zenun Elezaj, in his speech, said that the Festival "We sing to freedom" is a festival of our national memory, a festival of national values, a festival of our national traditions. It will be like this forever!

"We will continue the celebration that we started here today for three days in a row in Klina, in the squares and streets of our beautiful city, with songs, couplets, sharki and tupana in our hands, with white pleats on our heads and permanent memories and honors for the KLA war and for all those friendly countries that stopped the Serbian genocide in Kosovo and support us even today.

During the days of this festival, which, in terms of folklore, is a national epic, we will remember and honor the fallen and the living, their wounds for our dear and precious land. We will bow to the fallen and be with their families, not to give them strength, because they have enough, but to take strength from them and lessons on how, in times of war, one should get through. country lord
